Critics of the World Bank and Bush Administration

jjSo often the critics of the Bush Administration and the World Bank and generally anti-globalists will say that President Bush and Paul Wolfowitz are sinister in nature and in cahoots. Yet I hesitate to be so hasty and let me tell you why. You see, you should not judge a man until you walk in their shoes, we as citizens are not privy to much of the Intel, so to arm-chair consult such issues only adds to the sound and fury and thus control over the masses and aids in any so-called conspiracy if there even is one.

These same activists, mean spirited bloggers also complain that President Bush and Paul Wolfowitz have never seen combat and therefore are unfit to send men into battle to die. Yet again, I feel one must understand that a leaders job is to decide when and when not to continue to push for negotiation and when to cease negotiating with those who cannot be trusted or will not remain allies. Since I know neither man, I do not judge and give my leadership the benefit of the doubt.

Currently, I take the online newsletters from the World Bank and read them all and link to many reports, I approve of most of what they do and other things I just cannot know if I should or not based on little information, however, I understand the anti-Globalists comments on older men sending younger men to fight when they could not work things out.

Nevertheless I would rather have older men do the negotiating then younger men filled with testosterone, as that obviously will lead to war more often. The World Bank is a bank not a war maker. They may fund nations who miss use their borrowed monies for such things and those monies maybe used for wrong things. But that is a problem with man not with money. And in reading all there is to read about the World Bank, they seem to do the world quite a service in so many regards. Consider this in 2006.
